Address search and models
Search terms are sent through our server to the PDOK Locatieserver for address lookup. When choosing an area, your browser loads map tiles directly from PDOK, which receives technical connection data.
For a custom model our server processes the selected centre and size. Results are eligible for cleanup after 48 hours and removed during the next cleanup run; prepared places remain available longer. Model IDs contain a hash derived from the selection and are not access protection. Share a model link only if you wish to disclose the chosen place.
Cookies and settings
The necessary miniature_consent cookie remembers your privacy choice for 180 days. Selection and language settings may be stored in your browser for a session. You can change your choice at any time through Privacy settings.
Optional analytics with OpenPanel
Only with your consent, we load the script from openpanel.dev and send events to our OpenPanel instance at opapi.treehouse.ch. We measure page views, outbound link destinations and STL or 3MF selection. Link destinations and referrers are reduced to their domain; search terms, map coordinates and individual model IDs are not sent as analytics events.
Technical connection data such as IP address and browser information may be processed. Session Replay is disabled; we do not send names or email addresses to identify people. Technical device and session IDs may be processed. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track prevent analytics from starting. Analytics is optional; withdrawing consent reloads the page to stop the script.
Hosting, rights and retention
Necessary connection data are processed when you visit; proxy or hosting logs may contain additional data. Analytics and infrastructure data are retained according to the settings of the relevant systems.
OpenPanel events currently have no automatic expiry configured in the analytics database and remain until deleted. Proxy and hosting logs may have different retention periods.
Website operation and security rely on our legitimate interest in running the service (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). Optional analytics relies on your consent (Article 6(1)(a)), which you may withdraw at any time for the future.
